INTRODUCTION
Assembly Specialists Ltd. was established as a contract manufacturer to fulfill the needs of the prototype to medium level electronics sector. We strive to deliver the best possible service. As a niche manufacturer, we specialise in short [one off] to medium sized [10,000 off] runs of both through hole and surface mount to either assembled board level or full turnkey.

We have chosen our resources, both human and machine, to fit this niche and to give us maximum flexibility of processing.
In addition to contract manufacture Assembly Specialists Ltd. offers a complete range of associated services including PCB layout, advice on DFM [design for manufacture], DFT [design for test], and mechanical enclosure design.
We are also the foremost manufacturer of PCB test fixtures in New Zealand. We offer a full range from simple hinge fixtures to pneumatically operated clamshell units.

We offer the choice of Vapour Phase or forced air reflow soldering, with full processing in both leaded or RoHS compliant techniques.We hire, train, and maintain the staff required for manufacture and test - you leave the ERA, OSH, IRD and all the rest to us, and once again use the savings to further your business.

ULTIMA fixtures represent over 20 years of experience in PCB test fixturing. They offer high standards of accuracy and reliability. In addition to the standard range we can design and produce custom fixtures to suit your precise requirements.
CUSTOM FIXTURES
The above models are our standard products which are intended to cover most of the current industry requirements. We will design and manufacture fixtures to suit your exact needs - if you can lay the PCB and load the components we can supply a test fixture, regardless of the size, shape, height, depth, or probe count of the assembly. We understand the differing needs of MDA and functional test and are always happy to share on our experience.
